MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning, these are your morning announcements.

The Spring Spectacular is coming around the corner, it is Monday night.

Mr. Blocher will have music practice tomorrow at 7:45 and next Monday at approx. 12:10. 

Scapulars will be given out to the 2nd graders who made their 1st Holy Communion this year at mass this Friday.

Today is Administrative Assistant Professionals Days, please take time to thank Mrs. Detling for everything she does for St. Mary’s School. 

Grades 5 thru 8 will go to the State House next Tuesday. The bus leaves at 7:45. You must be in school uniform.

Friday is interim time, students if your grades are down get busy to get them where they should be.

 Thursday, May 1st is the National Day of Prayer. There will be a prayer service at the City Building at 12:00. We will attend the service which means lunch will be served 15 minutes early. Since I would like you to be in uniform on that day we will have sprit day on Wednesday next week. 

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  Take time to say something nice to somebody today.

Good morning, these are your morning announcements.

In track on Sat. Arcanum participated in the Milton Union Inv. , Paige Kruesch finished 4th in the long jump with a jump of 12’3” 8th in the hurdles and the 4 X 100 relay team which Paige runs on finished 6th.  In the meet yesterday Arcanum and Greenville ran against each other along with two other teams.  Paige Kruesch finished 2nd and Emma Jennings finished 3rd in the long jump. The Arcamum 4 X 100 relay team which Paige runs on finished 2nd, Paige Kruesch finished 3rd in the 200 hurdles. Emma Jennings finished 2nd in the 200 meters and was on the 1st place 4 X 200 relay team. Chloe Cox finished 3rd in the 400 meter dash with a PR of 75 seconds, and Chloe was also on the 4 X 400 relay team which finished 2nd.

Good morning, these are your morning announcements.

Happy birthday to Bella Hartzell, Bella’s birthday is on Easter Sunday. Bella please come to the office after announcements.

Reminder today is the Seder Meal beginning at 10:00 for grades 5 thru 8.

Today is Holy Thursday the last day of school this week. Mass tonight begins at 7:00PM.the 8th grade will “set the table” during the mass. We do not have school tomorrow or Easter Monday, enjoy your four day weekend.

In track results yesterday the Greenville girls defeated Covington 77 – 46. For Greenville, Chloe Cox finished 1st in the 400 meter dash and Hayley Maher finished 3rd in the 400 meter dash, this was a PR for Chloe and Hayley. (PR stands for Personal Record). ( Emma Jennings finished 1st in the 200 meter dash and second in the long jump. And although she didn’t place in the top 3 Hayley Maher also set a PR in the long jump. Congratulations to all three girls.

You should try to get to as many of the services as you can this weekend beginning tonight with the Holy Thursday mass.

I want to wish all people associated with St. Mary’s School a very Blessed and Happy Easter.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  For the thought for the day we will have a Lenten passage.
