September 3, 2010
- Good morning these are your morning announcements.
- Keyboarding will begin on Tuesday.
- Any student, grades 5-8, interested in being a member of Pro-Life club, the first meeting of the new school year will be Tuesday, September 14th after school until 3:30. 6th grade, please be sure to take notice of this date as you will be at Glen Helen next week and will not be here to be reminded.
- The 6th grade leave for Glen Helen Tuesday morning and return on Friday afternoon.
- Teachers: I would like you to begin taking attendance next week on the Churchwerks program. Please review it today, if you need help to let Mrs. Kelly-Pressnall, Mrs. Ayette or Mrs. Waltke know they all took the training.
- Reminder, there is no school on Monday.
- Staff and students: If you have a computer that shows something about virus infections on it, put a note on it and shut it down. Do not use that computer.
- Greenville HS football tickets are on sale in the office for home football games. Price: Students: $4.00 Adults: $6:00
- Happy Birthday Katelyn Livingston, Katelyn’s birthday is Sunday. Katelyn please come to the office after announcements.

Seeking Parish Secretary
St. Mary's Church is seeking a full time Parish Secretary. The person in this position will be responsible for many daily tasks that welcome and inform a diverse public and faith community. Applicants should possess knowledge of our Catholic faith and have an understanding of liturgical and sacramental processes. A collaborative spirit, professional and confidentail work ethic, and general office management and inventory control skills are essential. Proficiency with Parish Data Systems and Microsoft Office programs would be great assets. - Welcome back everybody, I hope you all have a fantastic school year.
- Please welcome the following new students to St. Mary’s School this year: All of the kindergarteners, 1st grade: Jacob Dircksen, 2nd grade: Roman Dircksen, 4th grade: Valerie Myers, and 5th grade: Evan Conlin and Irina Dingman. I am glad to welcome you into the St. Mary’s family.
- Students: Remember the dress code, it will be followed. Teachers, if students are in violation of the dress code please send them to the office.
- Keyboarding will be offered this year, it will not begin today, the software just arrived late yesterday. Mrs. Barga is volunteering her time to teach this class.
- Students: Your grades will be put on line this year, teachers, I hope to have your passwords to you tomorrow so you can get on line to do the grades. Do attendance the same way you have in the past.
- Students and teachers: At the end of the day I am asking the students to clean up around their desk, if everybody would do this it would help out greatly. Also, Mr. Bingham will have a big trash can at the end of the hallway, I am asking students at the end of the day to please empty the waste basket in their room in the big trash can. Leave the trash bag in your waste basket.
- Thought for the Day: Let’s all work together to make this the best school year ever!
