MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

We have the following birthday and ½ birthdays over Christmas break. Happy ½ Birthday to Cole Kramer on Jan. 1st and to Evan Saylor on Jan. 4th. Happy Birthday to Mrs. Adams on January 4th. Cole and Evan please come to the office after announcements.

Mr. Bingham has put a big black trash bag in all the classrooms, please use that for your trash from your parties today.

Redbooks are not needed today.

Today we will have hotdogs and chips for lunch. We will also furnish the drink.

Winter officially begins on Sunday.

Students and teachers: I want to read you the headlines and part of the story from Wednesday night’s Sidney Daily News.

Remember to say or do something nice to somebody today.

The Thought  for the Day:  I want to wish each of you and your families a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Congratulations to Valerie and Jacob on competing in the City spelling bee. Valerie just missed out on going to the Regional spelling bee with a 3rd place finish, the top two advanced to the regional.

 Happy belated birthday to Pablo Badell and Mrs. Foster, their birthdays were on Tuesday.

Teachers: I need somebody to cover the second lunch period today. Please let Chris know if you can cover.

St. Mary’s School has been challenged  by the Lay Pastoral Ministry Program to participate in the Peace Prayer Challenge. After announcements today we will accept the challenge by saying the prayer. All students and teachers  K thru 8 should report to the cafeteria immediately after announcements.

Jerrod Kohn a seminarian will be here this morning to talk with Mrs. Masso-Rivetti’s religion classes.

The following students have overdue library books out: Faith Henry – 2, Mariah Brunswick, Hunter Drew, Jaida Kelly, Cole Kramer – 2.

Tomorrow we will have hotdogs and chips for lunch. We will also furnish the drink.

Congratulations to Grades 1 thru 4 on making people at the nursing homes feel very happy.

I need to see all staff members after announcements this morning. 7th and 8th grade cover your classroom. The meeting shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.

The City spelling bee is today at 9:30 at Memorial Hall. Grades 5 thru 8 will be going to the bee. Good  luck to Jacob and Valerie.

3rd & 4th grade will go to confession this afternoon.

Thank you staff, teachers and parents for making last night a wonderful program. Everything was awesome.

We have students who do not have their permission slips in for singing at the nursing home and for the spelling bee. If you want to go the permission slips need to be turned in. They should have been in already.

Grades 1 thru 4 will sing at the Nursing Homes today, leave here at 12:30.

The City spelling bee is tomorrow at 9:30 at Memorial Hall. Grades 5 thru 8 will be going to the bee. Good  luck to Jacob and Valerie.

Tonight is the Christmas Program beginning at 7:00 in the church.
